Following the statutes of the Society, ordinary members are physical persons carrying out research or teaching in astronomy/astrophysics or related topics, or persons contributing to the development of astronomy in Switzerland.
To become a member please send an application letter, supported by 2 ordinary members, to the President. A simple letter or e-mail, including the names of the supporting members, suffices. Best practice is to CC the supporting members.
Applications are welcome any time of the year!
The annual membership is 30 CHF for ordinary members.
After you have been formally welcome by the SSAA President, you will need to register on our website (the link and password will be provided in the e-mail) and you will be able to pay either by credit card / Paypal or direct banking (red slip or e-banking), if needed.
