Membership
Following the statutes of the society, ordinary members are physical persons carrying out research or teaching in astronomy/astrophysics or related topics, or persons contributing to the development of astronomy in Switzerland.
To become a member please send an application letter, supported by 2 ordinary members, to the . A simple letter or e-mail, including the names of the supporting members, suffices. Best practice is to CC the supporting members.
Applications are welcome any time of the year!
The annual membership fee is CHF 30 for ordinary members.
After you have been formally welcomed by the SSAA president, you are kindly asked to pay the annual membership fee by using either the QR code on the left or the payment slip below. Payments via credit card are currently not possible!
